MAPS OF THE CLASSICAL WORLD

The following very attractive maps were produced for 'Murray's Small Classical Atlas' published in the 1920s (?), but all are in mint condition, unfolded (unless that is wanted) and very suitable for framing. All are on medium-weight paper and sized 18 inches (45.7 cm) by 14.5 inches (37 cm), 'landscape' format unless otherwise indicated. Maps CL1 and CL2 are currently unpriced, as, due to apparent scarcity - they are only available as part of the full set of 14. The full set is available flat at the special price of £50 (£48 folded), reference CL15.

MAPS SHOWING THE WORLD DISTRIBUTION OF AN AMAZING VARIETY OF ANIMALS, 1911

These near-century-old maps were prepared for an Atlas of Zoogeography by J G Bartholomew, and W E Clarke & P H Grimshaw of the Natural History Department, Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh. We have available all of these 36 fascinating 'plates', printed on heavy-duty paper, attractively coloured and very suitable for framing. Size - 'landscape' format, 22.9 inches (58.2 cm) across by 18.5 inches (47.0 cm).

Apart from three general sheets, all are divided into six (or occasionally more) world maps, each with a colour key showing the distribution of given animals or types of animals, ranging from elephants to stick insects (see list below)!
