As well as its current range of up-to-date street maps of Scottish cities, towns and villages, Ronald P A Smith now offers a wide range of genuine hand-engraved and beautifully coloured maps, produced by the world-renowned map publishers, Bartholomew of Edinburgh, between 30 and 130 years ago. Most of the maps are printed on heavy, quality paper and nearly all are available flat (supplied rolled in tube)and eminently suitable for framing.
You will find that R P A Smith is the only source of such a range of real early 20th century Bartholomew mapping (not facsimile reproductions!). Map availability is classified under the headings below. We hope that you will find the particular map you are looking for, although we have no hesitation in saying that nearly all of Bartholomew's cartography of the pre-computer era was beautifully produced and, if mounted and framed, would enhance the appearance of any room!
